Join the Danvers Alarm List Company as they host a one day 18th century living history event at the Nurse Homestead on November 5th from 9:15am-3pm.
Reenactors will be dressed in late 1770’s period clothing, and demonstrating everyday activities as well as 3 planned battle tactical demonstrations, and a lecture by Sandy Spector “10 things you may not know about Martha Washington”
All public are welcome to come to this event. (Please note that ALL reenactors MUST be pre-registered.)
Admission: $9.00 for Adults, $7.00 for Seniors, & $6.00 for Children (RNH members are FREE)
PLEASE NOTE: The Museum buildings will be open for visitation during this event but we will NOT be doing formal guided tours of any of the buildings; the meetinghouse will host the 10:15 lecture, and the Nurse family home will have reenactors demonstrating hearth cooking, and other household activities. During the tactical demonstrations we may cut off access to the lower field and cemetery path due to musket firing.
