Commemorating George Jacobs: 320 Years Later

On August 18th and 19th we will be commemorating the anniversary of the death of George Jacobs. At 81 years old he was the oldest person executed for witchcraft in 1692. Through a series of remarkable events he was eventually laid to rest here at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in 1992. To this day he remains the only person executed during the Salem Witch Trials whose remains were ever located.

Tours will run on the usual schedule on the hour from 10-2.
